        Danny’s clarification:   As stated in this article, I had learned 80 songs by the time I had been

        playing for about a year, but the songs I learned weren’t polished.   I went to Uncle Ozzie after I

        had been playing for about 4-5 months.  At this point, I was playing about 12 songs, and was

        pretty absorbed in Raymond Kane’s music.  As Uncle Ozzie set me up and taught me more songs,

        I continued to learn from recordings and video tapes of Led Ka‘apana and Raymond Kane, in

        addition to my lessons.
